"Our family is from Georgia and took this MLK weekend to teach our daughter and boyfriend about snow skiing before they graduate from high school and head to college. It never dawned on me this would be one of our most special times together, let alone actually learning to ski not just enough to get down the beginner slopes but hit real trails! Our instructor, Sanford Schulwolf was so much more then a ski instructor, he was a role model, a counselor, a cheerleader, and someone we all are proud to call a friend. Our day and a half with him on the slopes could not have been more fun and it made our whole trip really awesome. I don?t send many shout outs but he was just exceptional. Thank you for the wisdom to have him a part of your team, his presence reflects well on you and the whole resort!

"I just wanted to let you know what a great job Sanford did teaching our group of 7 how to ski today. Most of us had never skied before and he had us feeling like pros in just one day. We had a wonderful day and it was all because of our marvelous Beaver Creek Ski Instructor.

"My wife and I took three half-day ski lessons from Sanford on January 6th through 8th. We were originally scheduled for just two days, but we had such a great experience we decided to add a third lesson. Sanford had quite the task ahead of him in that he had two skiers of different abilities, and he handled it perfectly. He was able to evaluate our ability levels and then proceed to work with both of us to make significant improvements. Sanford did an amazing job of breaking down some complex techniques for skiing into bite sized chunks that allowed my wife and I to grasp and put into practice almost immediately. He figured out the best way that we both learned and instructed us accordingly.
When I started with Sanford on Monday, I was barely able to make it down a green run without falling. By the end of Wednesday, I was skiing down blues with confidence in my ability to get to the bottom. We had such a great time skiing with Sanford that we have already decided to return next year and take more lessons with him. I would highly recommend Sanford to anyone that is looking to learn how to ski.
